A Warm Welcome to Reception Class
Welcome to Appley Bridge All Saints' CE Reception Class. Our teacher is Mrs Green and our teaching assistants are Mrs MacFarlin, Mrs Brannon and Miss Hooper. We use the 'Letters and Sounds' scheme of work to teach phonics.
Articulation of Phonemes Video
It is essential that children are taught the correct articulation of phonemes so that they will be able to segment and blend properly and therefore read and spell words with confidence. Here is a short video showing the correct pronunciation of all the phonemes we will teach.
